Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp HeriMore White Curry Mix
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1 Cup Water (add more for desired consistency)
  • 2 Tbsp Ghee (divided)
  • 1 Cup Chopped Button Mushrooms
  • 1/2 Cup Matar/Green Peas
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh Cream for Garnish (optional)

Method

Step 1: Prepare the Curry Base

In a bowl, mix 3 tablespoons of HeriMore White Curry Mix with 1 cup milk and 1 cup water. Whisk until smooth and lump-free.

Step 2: Sauté the Vegetables

Heat 1 tablespoon ghee in a pan. Add the mushrooms and green peas. Sauté for 2–3 minutes until the mushrooms turn golden and the peas brighten. Remove and set aside.

Step 3: Cook the Curry

In the same pan, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon ghee. Pour in the curry mixture and stir gently. Allow it to cook and thicken while stirring occasionally. Add salt to taste.

Step 4: Combine and Finish

Once the curry begins to boil and reaches a creamy consistency, add the sautéed mushrooms and peas. Mix well so the vegetables are coated with the curry. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.

Step 5: Garnish and Serve

Transfer the curry to a serving bowl. Garnish with fresh cream if desired. Serve hot with rice, garlic chilli fried rice, naan, or roti. For a fusion twist, try it with pasta or baked dishes.

Pro Tip: Keep the flame on low while the curry simmers. This prevents curdling, lets the spices open up slowly, and gives you that silky-smooth restaurant-style finish.

Velvety, rich, and satisfying, this Mushroom Matar White Curry is a perfect example of how HeriMore makes everyday cooking easier. Whether you are craving a comforting Indian curry or a creamy continental dish, this mix adapts beautifully to your kitchen. Healthy, flavourful, and always quick to make, it’s the curry you’ll come back to again and again.
