Anyone can print No Preservatives on a pack. What matters is whether the process behind that claim actually holds up. At HeriMore, we built our process around one question: what would our mother accept?
The answer meant no artificial drying agents, no chemical preservatives, no colour additives, no cheap fillers, and no cutting corners at any stage. It also meant building our own manufacturing unit in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, one of India's finest regions for spices and grains. So we control every single step ourselves.
Here is exactly how we do it.
STEP 1
Handpick Ingredients from Trusted Sources
Every HeriMore product begins with what we choose to include and what we choose to leave out. The leaving out is just as important.
Our manufacturing unit is based in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, a region surrounded by some of the most fertile agricultural land in India. We source many of our ingredients directly from farms and suppliers in the surrounding region, where the soil, climate, and farming practices produce spices and grains of exceptional natural quality. From whole spices to whole millet grains and pulses, every ingredient comes from sources we have vetted personally.
Each ingredient is selected for freshness, nutritional value, and purity. We reject anything that shows signs of adulteration, over-processing, or poor handling.
Step 2
Sun-Dry and Slow Roast
Before anything is blended or ground, all ingredients are carefully sun-dried and roasted slowly to ensure no moisture remains. This is the traditional method that has been practiced in the kitchens for generations.
Sun-drying deepens the natural colour, concentrates the aroma, and removes surface moisture that would otherwise shorten shelf life or invite mould. The slow roasting process further unlocks the natural oils and flavour compounds in each spice.
Because of this careful preparation, our products preserve naturally. We do not need artificial preservatives because we have eliminated the conditions that require them. The science of the ingredients themselves does the work.
This process takes longer. That is exactly the point.
Step 3
Precision Grinding with Heritage Recipes
We freshly grind and mill in small batches at our own manufacturing facility in Jabalpur, MP, using high-grade stainless steel machines. Stainless steel matters because it does not react with the natural oils in spices, does not introduce metal contamination, and does not generate excess heat that damages fragile flavour compounds.
Each product follows a recipe that is more than 75 years old, passed down through our family across generations.
Every batch is measured, weighed, and blended by hand. Not by automated dispensing. By hand, with care, so every pack delivers exactly the same result as the last.
Step 4
Pack Fresh and Test for Truth
Every batch is packed by hand immediately after grinding. Not stored. Not held in intermediate containers. So the aroma, flavour, and nutritional value are sealed in before any degradation begins.
We use airtight, moisture-proof pouches designed to keep the product stable and fresh without requiring any chemical assistance. The packaging does its job so the product does not need additives to do it instead.
Before any batch leaves our unit, it is tested for consistency, purity, and balance. Every product is manufactured in-house in Jabalpur, India, lab-tested for quality, approved under FSSAI standards across our full range, with FDA approval on our Signature Masalas. These are not optional certificates. They are proof that our process holds up under independent scrutiny.
